The ceremony marked not only the end of their internship, but also a moment to recognize their commitment, growth, and contribution to SCAโs work with children, youth, women, and families in vulnerable situations.ย
During the internship period, the interns participated in activities undertaken by the field unit. These included street-corner education, value talk sessions, beneficiary follow-ups, school and media awareness campaigns, webinars, and other regular programmes aimed at supporting persons in vulnerable situations.ย
As part of the ceremony, the interns expressed their appreciation to the management and staff of Safe-Child Advocacy for providing them with the opportunity toย acquireย practical experience in the organizationโsย programmesย and field activities.ย
Mr. Offei stated, “my internship at Safe-Child Advocacy provided me with practical insight into social development and child protection. The experience deepened my understanding of the structural factors that contribute to child vulnerability, including poverty, social exclusion, and limited access to essential services. It also enhanced my appreciation of community-based interventions, advocacy, and sustainable development approaches, while strengthening my communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills”.
