Rev. Fr. Justine Eke, CM, Provincial Director of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, was warmly received by the management and staff of Safe-Child Advocacy (SCA) under the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi.
Fr. Eke is currently on a pastoral visit to Ghana, where the congregation is present in three communities: Kongo Lagore in the Upper East Region, as well as Kumasi and Drobonso in the Ashanti Region.
In Kumasi, the Daughters of Charity oversee key institutions within the Archdiocese, including Safe-Child Advocacy, St. Louise de Marillac Vocational Training Centre, and St. Vincent de Paul Day Care Centre. These centres continue to play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and women.
During his visit, Fr. Eke met with staff across the various centres and conveyed warm greetings from the Province. He expressed the Provincial Council’s deep appreciation for the dedication and selfless commitment demonstrated by staff in their service to the poor and vulnerable.
On behalf of the team, Mr. Akwasi Prempeh, Human Resource and Administrator of SCA, welcomed Fr. Eke and commended the Daughters of Charity for their impactful work and continued commitment to transforming lives through these institutions.
