On Tuesday, 28th July 2026, the entire team at Safe-Child Advocacy (SCA) gathered to bid a heartfelt farewell to Ms. Dana Klara Schnettberg, a German volunteer who has served with the organization since September 2025.Β
Dana joined SCA in September 2025 through the Diocese of OsnabrΓΌck, Germany, under a longstanding Memorandum of Understanding between the Diocese and Safe-Child Advocacy. The partnership provides an opportunity for German high school graduates to undertake voluntary service with SCA, promoting cross-cultural exchange and a shared commitment to child protection and community development.
Throughout her year of service, Dana made a significant impact across several SCA programmes. She served as a caretaker at the St. Vincent de Paul Day Care Centre, supported our services at the Drop-in Centre, and worked with the St. Louise de Marillac Vocational Training Centre. In addition, she contributed to the work of ConPAHTβTalitha Kum Ghana by supporting human trafficking awareness campaigns and participating in monitoring and intervention activities aimed at protecting victims of human trafficking.
At the farewell celebration, staff members shared words of gratitude, fond memories, and best wishes with Dana, celebrating the wonderful moments shared throughout her time with SCA. The team also expressed sincere appreciation to the Diocese of OsnabrΓΌck and prayed for continued collaboration in building a world where every child can thrive.Β
Safe-Child Advocacy extends its deepest appreciation to Dana for her dedication, compassion, and invaluable contributions over the past year. We wish her every success in her future endeavors and look forward to strengthening our collaboration with the Diocese of OsnabrΓΌck as we continue working towards a world where every child is safe, protected, and able to thrive.
