The Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac Vocational Training Centre in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, has proudly graduated its 9th cohort of vocational skill trainees. Ten dedicated students, comprising six dressmakers/fashion designers and four hairdressers, successfully completed their two-year training program.

On Saturday, October 5th, the graduates received their National Vocational and Testing Institutes (NVTI) Certificate (1) after passing their exams in April 2024 Watch the exams video here. A vibrant graduation ceremony was held to honor their achievement, attended by parents, loved ones, and members of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, Ghana.

To empower these young women to transform their lives, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, through the Conference of Major Superiors of Religious Ghana, provided setup materials and accessories for their respective trades.

The Daughters of Charity sisters at St. Louise de Marillac community encouraged the graduates to utilize their newfound skills and resources to improve their living standards.
