SCA Marks International Day for Street Children 2025

Established in 2011, IDSC recognizes the rights of millions of street-connected children worldwide and calls for attention to the systemic barriers they face. This day is an urgent reminder of the need to raise awareness, advocate for change, and promote meaningful inclusion.

The theme for this year’s commemoration is: “PARTICIPATION, From the Streets to the Decision Table: Listening to the Voice of Street-Connected Children”.

In a panel discussion, we will explore:

🎯 How to create safe, inclusive spaces for children’s participation in decision-making

🎯 Innovative methods for amplifying street-connected children’s voices in policy and practice

🎯 Cultural and systemic obstacles that hinder meaningful engagement — and how to address them.

On this note, SCA is warmly inviting you to a webinar to mark the International Day for Street Children (IDSC 2025) on Wednesday 16th April 2025, 10:00am–12:00pm (GMT).
