Safe-Child Advocacy, under the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi and managed by theย Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, has recently empoweredย 22 girlsย through vocational training inย Textile Weavingย andย Dressmaking.
The two-year training took place at theย Yaakoro Youth Development Centreย in Tamale, the capital of Ghanaโs Northern Region. Each graduate received start-up kits to launch their own businesses, become agents of change, and build a dignified future.
This initiative aligns withย SCAโs missionย to promote skill development and enterprise opportunities for vulnerable youth.
