Today we are reflecting on โThe Power of Careโ in addressing human trafficking.
Human Trafficking is a global problem, perpetrated by a network of trafficking gangs as such each individual has to get involved and contribute to eradicate this ugly dehumanizing activity from our world.Poverty and unemployment are the major push factors that cause people to get into the situation of trafficking in Ghana. Especially in times like these when the economy is so hard and inflation is on the increase, people are likely to jump at any opportunity that promises a better future for them and end up in the situation of trafficking. One amazing thing is how trafficking is perpetrated by persons who are closest or in the position of trust with the victim.
It is in our hands to create a better world for all who live in it. It could happen to anyone. We can be the generation to say enough is enough. Stop human trafficking and care for all.
